HISTORY OF MANDALA ART

Mandala art is known as a very satisfying art. We all should try it once. It is considered as meditative and creative art, because of its complex designing and large size;which takes a lot of time. The history of mandala art is very interesting. This is seen in hinduism and buddhism very largely. Siddhartha Goutama, the founder of buddhism, was born as a prince in today's Nepal. But, after seeing the suffering of middle class and lower class people, he decided to leave that position and ge started meditation and all for some spiritual reasons. Now, he found out that this type of spirituality can be spread all over the world. At that time, the monks used some circular type of art, which depicted the universe, from the suffering one to the joy and happiness. These artworks, which are known as mandalas nowdays, were carried by the monks to the east through the silk route which connected the east and west directly. BASICS ABOUT MANDALA ART

 Mandala art is generally a type of design. This is such a type of artwork that can depict all the natural things around us or something happening around us. 

Generally, mandala art is circular. It can be free handed or can be draen with the help of geometrical equipments.

Anyway, mandala is generally circular, as said previously. Now, this is black and white generally, but those are seen as colourful mandalas also. 

The word mandala comes from the sanskrit word "mandal", that depicts universe. So, we can depict all the things in the universe through mandala art. 


This was some basic knowledge about mandala art, which is very trending these daus and comes out to be very much beautiful. All should try this once, and all of us should be aware that it takes a lot of time, so, don't rush, handle it patiently.
